Discovering the Real Adam and Eve - Dr. John Sanford

This presentation is about affirming both the reality and the biblical importance of Adam and Eve. Christians are split between the liberal camp, who tend to brush off Adam and Eve (as well as many other parts of the Bible) and the biblical camp who takes Adam and Eve seriously, along with the rest of the Bible. LogosRA wishes to help people come back to the authority of Scripture, and we wish to do this with respect and love. This issue is urgent because we are in the end times. We strengthen our faith based upon Scripture, but also by God’s grace. In addition, the Lord has given us abundant scientific evidence, which strengthens those who want to grow.

We will begin with an overview, and we will address the problem of liberal Christians who don’t embrace the Bible and are twisting Scripture. This includes people in the creation community. For biblical Christians, we are grieved to see the twisting of Scripture. I am afraid much of the Christian community is developing woke ideologies that are not biblical. This will be discussed later, in terms of speculations that Adam and Eve might have been Homo erectus. This is a very disturbing and needs to be addressed.

A large part of the presentation is about genetic analyses. Dr Rob Carter’s genetic work has given us the ability to identify the original mitochondrial DNA sequence. Likewise, Dr Carter has identified the original Y Chromosome sequence. We now know a lot more than most people realize!
